The Tourney Company builds private tournament apps for golf clubs. This page explains what information we handle on thetourneyclub.com and on the event pages we run for clubs, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect very little, we use it only to run the event, and we do not sell it to anyone.

What we collect

• On this website: nothing you type. Our hosting providers keep the routine technical logs any website generates, such as the date of a visit and a browser type.
• On event pages: if you sign in with your name from the event field list, that choice is stored on your own device so the page can greet you and show your matches. If you turn on notifications, your device gives us a delivery token so updates can reach you during the event.
• From the club: the club or its tournament staff provide the event details we display, such as pairings and results.

How we use it

To run the tournament: showing schedules, pairings, scores, and updates, and personalizing the event page to you. That is the whole list. We do not sell information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not send marketing to event participants.

Where it lives

Our sites run on established infrastructure providers, including Netlify for hosting, Cloudflare for network services, and Google Firebase for live event data. Each holds data only to provide its service to us. A choice stored on your own device, such as your name selection, stays on that device and can be cleared in your browser settings at any time.

How long we keep it

Event information is kept for the season so results and history can be displayed, and notification tokens expire when the event ends or when you turn notifications off. If you would like something about you removed sooner, email us and we will take care of it.

Children

Our sites are made for club events and are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
